Dear UMX Clients,
Dear UMX Clients,
To better reflect differences in liquidity across tokens, UMX is introducing a grouped fee schedule for futures. Futures pairs are assigned to Group 1 or Group 2. Within the same VIP tier, each group has its own maker and taker rates. VIP tier is still determined at account level under the existing rules and is not calculated separately by group.
How it works
- Each futures pair will be assigned to Group 1 or Group 2. At the same VIP tier, the two groups apply different maker / taker rates.
- When you trade a futures pair, the system applies the fee rate for that pair’s group at your current VIP tier.
- Current sample tokens for the two groups: ICP, LDO. The platform may subsequently adjust the token list in each group based on liquidity and market conditions.
- VIP qualification is unchanged. Your tier continues to be based on 30-day trading volume and/or account assets; the group rate is then applied.
- The full fee schedule and group lists are available under Trading fees rate → Crypto fee rate → Futures.
- This change applies to crypto perpetual and delivery futures only. It does not apply to options contracts.
Effective time Effective from 11:00, 11 September 2026 (UTC+8).
- New futures orders submitted after this time are charged at the grouped rates.
- Open orders placed before this time but filled after it are also charged at the grouped rates in effect at the time of the fill.
Please note
- Before you trade, check the fee page for the pair’s group and the applicable rates.
- UMX may adjust group lists and group rates in response to market liquidity. Any change will be announced separately.
- Availability and fees may differ by jurisdiction. Please refer to the rates shown in your account.
